Job summary

Landry's in Houston seeks a hands-on Security Operations professional to support and maintain controls across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and applications. You will play a key role in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and SIEM engineering while partnering with IT and application teams to embed security into day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of information security experience across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity domains.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise EDR platforms including tuning, automated responses, and live response.
• Experience with next-generation firewall platforms and policy management.
• Experience with cloud-delivered Zero Trust and secure web gateway platforms.
• Experience with enterprise SIEM, alert triage and basic detection rule development.
• Understanding of cloud identity and access management (conditional access, MFA, hybrid identities).
• Knowledge of vulnerability management platforms and SLA-based remediation tracking.
• Ability to automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain security controls across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and applications.
• Triage alerts, investigate incidents, and support containment and remediation across security tool stack.
• Assist with incident response activities across all phases and maintain response playbooks for enterprise scenarios including hospitality, gaming, and entertainment.
• Build and tune detection logic within SIEM and support automated response workflows.
• Support PCI DSS v4.0 compliance and NIST CSF 2.0 control mapping across multi-environment org.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, network engineering, and application teams to embed security into design and build processes.
