Cybersecurity Engineer (SOAR) [JOB ID 20250501]

Phoenix Cyberis seeking Cybersecurity Engineers to join our client delivery team. This is a remote, work-from-home position with minimal travel within the continental United States.

Requirements:

1. Degree in a STEM-related discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience
2. 2+ years of experience with Python development
3. Knowledge of scripting languages Bash and PowerShell
4. At least 3 years of experience in software development with COTS integration
5. Experience in API development and consumption
6. Prior consulting experience
7. Government security clearance

Nice to have:

1. Proficiency with cybersecurity platforms such as SOAR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, Endpoint Security
2. Experience with SOAR tools like Swimlane, Cyber Triage, Phantom
3. Container services experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
4. Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
5. Knowledge of ELK stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and Splunk
6. Experience with Agile methodologies

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions in cybersecurity
2. Develop and implement automation for security incident response
3. Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to design security orchestrations
4. Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a cross-functional team
