Job description

Phoenix Cyber is looking for Cybersecurity Engineers to join our client delivery team. This is a remote, work-from-home position with the possibility of minimal travel within the continental United States.

Requirements:

1. Degree in a STEM-related discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience
2. 2+ years of experience developing with Python
3. Working knowledge of scripting languages Bash and PowerShell
4. At least 3 years of experience in software development with COTS integration
5. Working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Node.js
6. Experience in API development and consumption
7. Prior consulting experience

Nice to have:

1. Proficiency in cybersecurity platforms: SOAR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, Endpoint Security
2. Experience with SOAR tools like Swimlane, Cyber Triage, Phantom
3. Experience with container services such as Docker and Kubernetes
4. Linux administration experience
5. Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
6. Experience with ELK stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and/or Splunk
7. Experience with Agile methodologies
8. Prior government or large enterprise experience
9. Government security clearance

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise and real-world experience in creating innovative cybersecurity solutions
2. Develop and implement automations to respond to security incidents
3. Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to design security orchestrations
4. Adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a cross-functional team
