PingWind, Inc. in Shaw AFB, SC, seeks a Virtualization Architect to design and optimize enterprise virtualization across data centers, hybrid cloud, and enterprise networks.

This role provides strategic and technical leadership for secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure. Required qualifications include a Secret clearance, DoD 8570.01 M IAM Level III, and a minimum of three years of RMF/Cyber experience with DoD environments; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570.01 M IAM Level III certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to protect, detect, counter, and mitigate unauthorized activity on DoD networks and systems.
• Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity programs and procedures.
• Develop and maintain processes to identify and track cybersecurity requirements and document certification efforts.
• Validate cybersecurity compliance and review documentation for accuracy.

Position Description

PingWind is seeking a Virtualization Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise virtualization environments that support critical business and mission operations. This role provides strategic and technical leadership for virtualization platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across data centers, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise networks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the AO and Information Assurance Program Manager (IAPM) in protecting, detecting, characterizing, countering, and mitigating unauthorized activity and vulnerabilities on DoD information networks and systems.
• Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity programs and shall provide recommendations for, and coordination of, administrative policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a process to identify and track cybersecurity requirements, identify possible solutions, manage cybersecurity actions, and document decisions and certification efforts.
• Validate cybersecurity compliance, review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Advise and assist organizations in the preparation of RMF documentation, Connection Approval Process (CAP), and ATO requests for existing and proposed system or network changes.
• Coordinate Computer Network Defense (CND) policies and procedures across the SWA AOR.
• Provide oversight of PM and Programs of Record (POR) cybersecurity compliance; coordinate certification and accreditation efforts for PM or POR systems.

Salary Range

$104K - $145K
