Job summary

New York Life invites motivated students to join the TDAV Internship Program in New York City, focusing on cybersecurity within a dynamic tech-enabled team. You will engage in hands-on work across cloud and on-premises environments, contributing to secure designs and rapid incident response.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and engineering teams, leveraging AI-powered techniques to detect threats and strengthen defenses, while gaining valuable network-building

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with expected graduation in December 2027 or May 2028.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network security, network & endpoint threat detection, and incident response.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/PowerShell/Bash) with an interest in security automation and tool integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity solutions protecting enterprise systems, applications, and data.
• Monitor security events, analyze alerts, investigate threats, and strengthen security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities and enhance monitoring with AI-powered technologies.
