Job summary

New York Life invites motivated students to join the TDAV Internship Program in New York City, focusing on cybersecurity within a dynamic tech-enabled team. You will engage in hands-on work across cloud and on-premises environments, contributing to secure designs and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with expected graduation in December 2027 or May 2028.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network security, network & endpoint threat detection, and incident response.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/PowerShell/Bash) with an interest in security automation and tool integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity solutions protecting enterprise systems, applications, and data.
• Monitor security events, analyze alerts, investigate threats, and strengthen security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.

Work with security tools, automation platforms, and threat intelligence resources to improve incident response processes and operational effectiveness. Support secure code changes, configuration improvements, and security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
