DirectViz Solutions, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to support cybersecurity operations through system hardening, vulnerability management, STIG implementation, and remediation across enterprise environments. DoD standards and best practices guide your work.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Cyber Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline, plus IAT II certifications and 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Cyber Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• One or more IAT II certifications (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP).
• At least 5 years of full-time experience in system hardening, STIGs, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Perform system hardening on Windows and Linux in line with DoD requirements and best practices.
• Implement and maintain STIGs across environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS and related tools.
• Analyze, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities and findings.
• Apply patches and security updates for Linux and Windows systems.
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with admins, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams.
