Job summary

Glint Tech Solutions LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer in Dahlgren, VA to support enterprise cybersecurity operations. The role focuses on system hardening, vulnerability management, compliance with DoD requirements, and remediation across Windows and Linux environments.

The ideal candidate has an active DoD Secret clearance, IAT II, and at least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing STIGs, performing ACAS assessments, and applying security patches. Onsite work preferred.

Qualifications

• US Citizen due to government requirement.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 4 years of cybersecurity experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Current IAT Level II Baseline Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑time experience in system hardening and cybersecurity engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform system hardening in line with DoD requirements and best practices.
• Implement and maintain STIGs on servers, workstations, and networked systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS.
• Analyze scan results and plan remediation actions.
• Remediate findings via configurations, updates, and patches.
• Apply patches/updates to Windows and Linux OS.
• Support compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
• Maintain documentation of security configurations and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with admins, network engineers, and security teams to improve posture.
• Assist with inspections, audits, assessments, and accreditation efforts.
• Support continuous monitoring and risk management.
