Job summary

LSI is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to perform system analysis, design, and implementation for DoD regulation-compliant information systems and training devices. You will work across DoD RMF processes, OS hardening, assessments, and documentation.

The role involves collaborating with software engineers, field technicians, and management to ensure security posture and timely project delivery. A strong DoD security background is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with RMF for DoD IS and related standards.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7–9 security hardening.
• Degree required; DoD IT security experience preferred, IAT-II certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and support accreditation for fielded information systems and training devices.
• Patch and provision hardened OS; balance security with functionality and provide demos.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers and assist other teams with troubleshooting.
