Job summary

Render Security Engineering LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in California, Maryland. The role involves managing Navy/USMC RMF packages and implementing security controls for Group 5 UAS and sensor systems.

Qualified candidates have a DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8140/8570(Security+) certification, and 5–12 years of related experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred, and U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred).
• 5–12 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Active DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security+).
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain A&A packages in eMASS and MCCAST.
• Address security controls per 85001.01 and 8510.01.
• Collaborate with customers and vendors on system knowledge for cybersecurity requirements.
• Apply technical principles to Navy & Marine Corps systems.
• Establish complex information security requirements based on policies and resources.
• Support development of doctrine and policies for customers at high levels.
• Apply expertise to government and commercial systems with specialized security features.
