Job summary

Render Security Engineering LLC seeks a System Administrator to join an in-person team in a lab environment supporting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). You will manage Windows and Linux systems, apply patches, create baselines, deploy images, perform backups, and implement STIGs to secure the environment.

The role offers exposure to cryptographic devices and network equipment, with opportunities to deepen cybersecurity expertise within a UAS setting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570 Certification – Security+ (Plus)
• Active Secret clearance
• Zero to five years of experience
• Experience with vulnerability scanners (ACAS, Nessus) and STIG implementation

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scans using ACAS.
• Install patches and ensure systems are up to date.
• Create system baselines and deploy images to field components.
• Manage system backups and recovery processes.
• Implement security hardening using STIGs.
• Maintain hardware and software inventories.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
