AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Navy program office. You will help implement cybersecurity requirements across the system lifecycle, review architectures for vulnerabilities, and conduct ACAS/Nessus scans with STIGs and SCAP evaluation.
You will work with developers to remediate findings and develop POA&Ms, SAPs, and RMF artifacts to support ATO/IATT. A Secret clearance is required, and hybrid work is offered.

As a growing Department of Defense Contractor, AUSGAR Technologies has an exciting NEW opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team of smart and innovative technical team members in the Old Town area of San Diego.
Serve as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for a Navy program office to support implementation and integration of cyber requirements throughout all stages of the system development lifecycle to include requirements gathering, system engineering, deployment and sustainment. This position will include reviewing system architecture to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and compliance issues. Work to plan and execute cybersecurity scans to include running Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)/Tenable Scans, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), evaluate STIG, DISA Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and evaluate system against vendor security best practices. Work with the system developers to remediate and mitigation vulnerabilities on the system. Develop system architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams as required. Develop Security Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to include the development of mitigations statements. Support the Cybersecurity Analyst as needed for the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) and Interim Authority to Test (IATT).

Salary Range: $120K-$155K
Based on your qualifications, you will be placed in Level I-V.
