Job summary

Entegris site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This six‑month assignment offers real ownership of security tasks across identity, cloud, and OT environments, including Python scripting and automation with Microsoft Graph.

You will learn to work with Terraform, Ansible, Azure, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Entra while building reports in Excel or Power BI and preparing runbooks.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
• Hands-on coding experience in Python, coursework, personal projects, or club work.
• Interest in automation and infrastructure as code tooling such as Terraform and Ansible; no prior experience required as we will teach you.
• Able to read a script, modify it, and be eager to write more; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with security engineers on daily tasks and design reviews to learn how controls are chosen, built, and maintained.
• Write small Python scripts to pull data from Microsoft Graph and other security tooling APIs; automate recurring reports.
• Analyze identity data to surface gaps like MFA coverage and stale accounts.
• Compare cloud configurations in Google Cloud, Azure, and M365 against security baselines and flag differences.
• Build recurring reports in Excel or Power BI from security dashboards and summarize results for leadership.
• Track remediation progress on security findings and keep owners and due dates current.
• Keep security documentation current, including runbooks and asset inventories; test steps for MFA enrollment and access requests.
