Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer 3 to safeguard our digital assets and information. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure while staying current with regulatory frameworks and best practices.

You will lead incident response, log analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to embed security across development lifecycles. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in cybersecurity engineering, hands-on experience with Splunk, and

Qualifications

Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
7+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer with building security controls.
Experience implementing continuous monitoring for compliance with security controls.
Strong skills in log collection and analysis using Splunk.
Experience with government regulatory frameworks and security standards (NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP).
Experience securing cloud, container, and DevSecOps in IL5–IL6+ environments.
Strong understanding of networks, OS, and infrastructure.
Incident response, forensic analysis, and security incident handling strengths.
Familiarity with Fortify, Acunetix, Prisma Cloud.
Excellent communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 certs.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption).
Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
Develop incident response plans for security incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies.
Monitor traffic, logs, and alerts to detect incidents.
Analyze anomalies and security breaches to mitigate risks.
Integrate security across the development lifecycle.
Maintain thorough documentation of security processes and configurations.
Prepare detailed security reports.
