Job Description:

Short Description: The Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) seeks an Azure Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity Engineer 3) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to collaborate with an existing software development team.

Complete Description: You will work alongside established contractors and staff on several web and Windows applications used internally by ELECT staff and constituents of Virginia. The role requires expertise in IT security, cloud security, and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates should have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. A bachelor’s degree and/or recognized industry certifications are highly desirable. Familiarity with mobile and responsive design practices is a plus.
