Job summary

Zeiders Enterprise Inc. is seeking an experienced cybersecurity engineer to implement and monitor security controls across a cloud-hosted enterprise platform.

You will work with engineers, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure configurations and robust defense against threats. You will lead vulnerability identification and remediation efforts, support secure DevSecOps practices, and participate in Agile delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Five or more years of experience supporting cybersecurity engineering or security operations activities.
  • Experience implementing security controls and secure system configurations.
  • Experience supporting vulnerability identification, remediation, and security monitoring activities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise digital platforms or web-based applications.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to security operations and system protection.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement technical security controls supporting a cloud-hosted enterprise digital services platform
  • Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure teams, and security personnel to ensure applications and systems follow secure configuration practices
  • Monitor system security posture and assist with vulnerability identification and remediation activities
  • Support integration of security practices within application development and deployment workflows
  • Assist with security monitoring and incident response support activities; work with DevSecOps teams to incorporate security scanning into pipelines
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of security related issues affecting application or infrastructure environments
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities and collaborate with technical teams to support secure system operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement technical security controls supporting a cloud-hosted enterprise digital services platform
  • Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure teams, and security personnel to ensure applications and systems follow secure configuration practices

RequiredQualifications

  • Fiveor more years of experience supporting cybersecurity engineering or security operations activities
  • Experience implementing security controls and secure system configurations
  • Experience supporting vulnerability identification, remediation,andsecurity monitoring activities
  • Experience supporting enterprise digital platforms or web-based applications.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating with engineering teams
  • Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills related to security operations and system protection
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word,Powerpointand Outlook.
  • Strong communicationand organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting security practices for applications hosted in cloud environments such as AWS
  • Experience supportingDevSecOpsenvironmentsintegrating security testing into development workflows
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or similar are a plus
  • Experience supporting federal or large enterprise technology programs
OtherRequirements
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment and government background investigation to include FBI fingerprints.
  • This position requires access to U.S. Government facilities and systems. U.S. Citizenship, a valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance arerequired.

Physical Demands:
