Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) invites applications for the Division Chief role within the Risk Management Directorate at Fort Meade. The position supports cybersecurity activities, leads a team, and develops solutions aligned with DoD objectives.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in information assurance, incident response, red team operations, and vulnerability assessments, and is prepared to guide high-level decisions within the DOD community.

Qualifications

• To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.
• Experience planning and executing cyber incident response, full-spectrum red team operations, or adversary emulation to evaluate defensive readiness.
• Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience within the body of their resume.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Division Chief within the Risk Management Directorate.
• Supervises, manages, and leads the activities of employees which plan and support cybersecurity activities.
• Directs the development of technical and procedural solutions to support high-level DOD objectives providing supportable solutions to the entire DOD community.
• Develops new theories, concepts, principles, standards, and methods related to Information Assurance, Incident Response, and Ethical Hacking.
• Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
• Represents the Agency in high level meetings, briefings, conferences, speeches and oversight.
