Job summary

Wake Tech in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced leader to provide direction for Cybersecurity faculty and staff while performing all duties of an instructor. This role partners with the Department Head to oversee class scheduling, faculty evaluations, and curriculum development.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field, at least two years teaching experience, and supervisory experience. Master’s degree preferred; experience in community college settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Network Management, or a related field.
• Two years teaching experience in a related field.
• Supervisory experience in an academic setting or demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for cybersecurity faculty and staff.
• Assist Department Head with class scheduling and faculty recruitment.
• Promote enrollment growth and analyze departmental data.
• Ensure syllabi compliance and support faculty development.
• Collaborate on divisional policies and departmental projects.
