Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks an intern to support acquisition and sustainment efforts with operations research, data analytics, and cybersecurity risk analysis.

You will translate complex information into clear recommendations for program leaders and stakeholders. You’ll gain exposure to SPA teams across Navy, Air Force, and DOE programs, contributing to decision-making and risk assessment while working five days a week at SPA HQ.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a quantitative or technical degree (bachelor's/master's).
• Strong written and oral communication skills for synthesis and briefing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel for decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition and sustainment efforts with operations research and data analytics.
• Translate technical cybersecurity information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Assist in risk analysis, test design, and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with SPA teams across policy, modeling, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and safety.
• Contribute to alternatives analysis and decision-support materials.
