Job summary
Henry Ford College invites applications for a Full Time Faculty position in Computer Information Systems - Cybersecurity. The role involves teaching CIS/Cybersecurity courses to majors and non-majors across in-person, online, and hybrid formats; and actively engaging in curriculum development, program coordination, advising, and assessment to foster student success.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or higher in Cybersecurity/CS with relevant professional experience, a CISSP or equivalent
Qualifications
- Earned Bachelor's degree or higher with advanced coursework in Cybersecurity.
- Five+ years full-time cybersecurity experience.
- CISSP or similar certification required.
- Demonstrated programming/scripting experience.
- Two years full-time teaching in higher education or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Teach CIS/Cybersecurity courses in-person, online, or hybrid.
- Engage in curriculum and course development; coordinate courses and programs.
- Advise and mentor students; assess learning outcomes; contribute to program quality.
- Collaborate with colleagues and committees to support student success and diversity.
