Job summary

Sentar, an employee-owned technology solutions provider, seeks an Information Technology Cybersecurity-CIO Task Lead in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role delivers overall management of contractor personnel and ensures alignment with the PWS, while driving a security-first program across the organization.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in IT leadership, strategic IT planning, budgeting, and Information Security governance, with TS/SCI clearance eligible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT leadership experience, including CIO-level accountability.
• 5+ years IT strategic planning experience.
• 5+ years IT budgeting and investment management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMC to ensure organizational compliance.
• Oversee regular cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate threats.
• Coordinate internal and external security audits to validate the effectiveness of controls.
• Coordinate tasks among different project teams and manage cross-team dependencies to prevent resource conflicts.
• Lead crisis response efforts during major breaches, ensuring timely detection, containment, and recovery.
• Oversee the selection and management of third-party security vendors and ensure acquisitions meet security standards.
