Job summary

Brigham Young University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty - Electrical and Computer Engineering to coach a cybersecurity capstone team. Applicants should hold a BS in a related field (MS preferred) and be able to dedicate ~3 hours weekly during 8–10 am MT. Relocation to Utah is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in cybersecurity, CS, engineering, or related field required.
• MS degree preferred.
• Must be completed by the start date.

Responsibilities

• Guide a 5–7 member student capstone team through design process and project deliverables.
• Coach and mentor students; attend weekly capstone meetings and lectures.
• Maintain sponsor relationships and project scope, timeline, and deliverables.
• Relate course requirements to the capstone project and teach professional soft skills.
• Commit to approximately 3 hours per week between 8–10 am MT.
