Job summary

Motorola Solutions in New York, NY is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity assessor to join our information protection team. The role focuses on assessments against NIST CSF, NIST 800-53r5, NIST 800-171, CJIS, ISO 27001 and HIPAA for diverse clients, with remote and onsite delivery.

You will work with commercial and public safety customers, applying risk-based methodologies, and communicating findings clearly. A Bachelor’s degree is required; US citizenship and secret clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in client delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing team projects of assessment and advisory work both remotely and onsite.
• Engage with commercial and public safety customers at various government levels.
• Understand and apply cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53r5, NIST 800-61, NIST 800-171r3, CJIS, ISO 27001, CIS 8.1, HIPAA).
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks through formal assessments.
• Review cybersecurity documentation for client information systems.
• Travel up to 50% as required for client engagements.
