Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a seasoned cybersecurity assessor to support client engagements, performing governance, risk and compliance assessments using NIST CSF, NIST 800-53r5, CJIS and ISO 27001 standards. You will interface with customers, analyze documentation, and drive remediation activity.

The role requires US citizenship with SECRET clearance, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 25–50% travel. A dynamic, people-first culture and strong written/verbal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, bachelor’s degree, or six years of cybersecurity/public safety experience.
• U.S. citizen with a SECRET security clearance.
• Experience with information protection, governance, risk and compliance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing remote and onsite assessment and advisory projects.
• Work with commercial and public safety customers across sectors.
• Apply knowledge of multiple cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks via formal assessments.
• Analyze client information system documentation and privacy controls.
• Communicate findings clearly and coordinate with delivery teams.
• Travel at least 30–50% as required for engagements.
