Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT audit, or a related field.
• Experience in financial-services industry including banking, fintech, or payments.
• Exposure to emerging financial technologies such as digital assets, blockchain, or tokenization.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity risks into practical client recommendations.
• Strong governance, controls, identity management, and data-protection knowledge.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity, technology-risk, and operational-resilience engagements for financial clients.
• Evaluate implications of digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins, and tokenized assets.
• Assess risks in custody, wallet, key management, APIs, cloud, and third‑party integrations.
• Explain cybersecurity principles for new products and partnerships to clients.
• Evaluate governance, incident response, business continuity, and third‑party risk.
• Advise on relationships among banks, fintechs, custodians, and tech providers.
• Assess regulatory expectations and frameworks (FFIEC, GLBA, NYDFS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Communicate risks to executives and risk committees; manage project scope, timelines, budgets.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to Crowe's cybersecurity capabilities.
