Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Cyber Security Assessment Manager to help financial institutions, fintechs, payments providers, and other financial-services organizations manage cybersecurity risk in a rapidly evolving tech and regulatory environment. You will lead engagements, shape client solutions, and mentor colleagues, with a strong emphasis on digital assets and related capabilities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT audit, security consulting, or related field.
• Experience in financial-services industry (banking, fintech, payments, etc.).
• Broad exposure to emerging financial technologies and business models including digital assets, blockchain, or Banking-as-a-Service.
• Ability to explain cybersecurity and risk implications of emerging tech to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of governance and controls (IAM, data protection, cloud, incident response).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity, technology-risk, and operational-resilience engagements for banks, fintechs, payments providers, and related firms.
• Evaluate cybersecurity implications of evolving technologies (digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins).
• Assess risks related to digital-asset custody, key management, wallet infrastructure, and APIs.
• Explain how established cybersecurity principles apply to new products and business models.
• Evaluate programs against FFIEC/GLBA/NYDFS/NIST/ISO/PCI DSS guidance and report to clients.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to Crowe's capabilities in financial-services cybersecurity.
