Job summary

ComTec Solutions LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as a security SME across architecture, policies, and compliance initiatives. The role focuses on delivering secure designs while guiding CMMC compliance on client projects.

The engineer will assess risks, document security controls, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure security remains a core project driver. Travel is minimal and billable work is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in Information Technology.
• 2+ years in Cybersecurity.
• 1+ year in CMMC compliance.
• Information Security Qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, and ISSAP, a plus.
• Certified CMMC Professional (CCP).
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, or 800-53.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture reviews during initiative design to ensure risk is managed.
• Design and review security for complex applications and technologies.
• Maintain security system plans and procedures.
• Recommend changes to procedures to align with corporate policies.
• Conduct security risk assessments and document findings.
• Liaise with cybersecurity vendors and review reports weekly.
