Job summary

NRS, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead security across cloud and on‑premise environments. You will design secure architectures, embed security in DevSecOps, and drive threat detection, incident response, and governance programs.

The role collaborates with IT, engineering, and business teams to implement Zero Trust, IAM controls, and compliant security practices while guiding incident response and risk remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong experience implementing DevSecOps practices in modern engineering environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud security (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
• Proven track record managing security incidents and risk management.
• Experience securing Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Experience with incident response, threat management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, development, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing.
• Lead Zero Trust architecture initiatives and security strategy.
• Design and secure cloud environments (Azure, AWS, M365).
• Oversee threat detection, incident response, and risk management programs.
• Implement IAM, PAM, MFA, and identity governance controls.
• Lead security tool evaluations, integrations, and optimization.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and audits.
