Job summary

Petroplan is recruiting for a Cybersecurity Engineer on behalf of a US-based LNG Operator. This role develops and maintains cybersecurity architecture across enterprise IT, OT, and cloud environments, delivering secure patterns, threat assessments, and risk-based controls.

You will collaborate with IT, engineering, operations, and external partners to integrate security into system design, deployment, and operations, ensuring compliance with NIST, ISO 27000, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity roles, with hands-on architecture/design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cybersecurity architectures across IT, OT, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security gaps.
• Implement security controls on Azure and AWS with IAM, MFA, encryption, and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27000-series, FISMA, and FedRAMP where applicable.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and vendor partners to embed security into DevSecOps.
