Job summary

Toshiba America, Inc. is seeking a skilled mid-level Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen defenses against evolving cyber threats. You will monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents while contributing to long-term security improvements.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of incident response and collaborates across teams to drive results. Responsibilities include vulnerability assessments, runbook development, and maintaining security tools.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and alert tuning.
• Familiarity with AI security risks and secure AI practices.
• Proven ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience automating analysis tasks and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security events, alerts, and incidents.
• Act as primary responder during security incidents including containment and recovery.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document findings for leadership.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts.
• Support threat hunting and phishing defense programs.
• Configure and tune security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, email security).
• Contribute to security and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
• Develop runbooks, procedures, and standards to improve SOC efficiency.
