Job summary

Toshiba America, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen defenses, monitor, investigate, and respond to security events while driving long-term security improvements.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of hands-on experience and can work across teams to accelerate results. Responsibilities include incident response, vulnerability assessments, threat hunting, and aligning with ISO, NIST, and other standards.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows/Linux, and core security concepts.
• Experience with SIEM, threat hunting, and cloud defense strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security events and incidents.
• Act as primary responder during security incidents, including containment and recovery.
• Perform root cause analysis and document findings for leadership.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation.
• Support threat hunting and phishing defense programs.
• Configure and tune security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, email security).
• Contribute to security standards, runbooks, and blueprints for SOC efficiency.
