Hughes Federal Credit Union is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support members, staff, and third parties in cybersecurity risk mitigation. The role covers information security monitoring, vendor management, incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery, security awareness, audit support, and risk communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of similar or related experience in cybersecurity risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risk and recommend actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of IT Security/Governance practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ITGRC oversight and governance activities.
• Monitor information security systems and analyze threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in development of policies, procedures, and processes for IT and security governance.
• Assist in vendor management and incident response programs.
• Participate in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and related exercises.
• Contribute to security awareness training across the organization.
• Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and federal exams preparation.
• Monitor in-place security solutions and assist in breach identification and remediation.
