Job summary

Tucson Electric Power in Tucson, AZ is seeking an IT Security Analyst to defend networks, systems, and information assets against evolving cyber threats while helping ensure the reliability of services customers depend on every day.

You will monitor security events, conduct risk assessments, and work with IT teams to embed security into technology solutions while supporting NERC CIP, SOX, HIPAA, and PCI DSS compliance.

Qualifications

• Level I minimum: High School diploma; good communication and teamwork.
• Level II: 3–5 years in IT security or networking; industry certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred for progression.

Responsibilities

• Design, planning, testing, and administration of information security controls.
• Monitor security events, perform incident response and forensic investigations.
• Evaluate new security technologies and assess risk to protect assets.
• Ensure regulatory/compliance controls (NERC CIP, SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Lead or assist IT projects with security expertise.
