Job summary

Tucson Electric Power Company is seeking an IT Security Analyst to defend networks, systems and data critical to powering communities. You will administer enterprise systems, monitor events, and respond to incidents while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma with cybersecurity/IT background; bachelor’s preferred, with 3–5 years for Level II and relevant certifications. Join a team protecting assets supporting customers and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in information security or related IT disciplines.
• Knowledge of IAM, SIEM, firewalls, malware protection, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of incident response, threat detection, risk assessment, and security best practices.
• For Level II: 3–5 years in security or network disciplines; CISSP or GSEC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer and secure enterprise systems, applications, databases, networks, and user access.
• Monitor security events, investigate suspicious activity, and respond to incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability, risk, and security assessments to strengthen our posture.
• Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies for assets and operations.
• Support regulatory initiatives and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and project teams.
