Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst Lead to support Test Operations at Tunnel 9, White Oak, MD. You will work with the ISSM/ISSO to maintain security posture for information systems and help architect cybersecurity solutions for current and future systems.

The role requires DoD-related experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain an active clearance. Guides include patch management, continuous monitoring, and SIEM implementation in a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Experience in information security or network administration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day information system security operations (ISSO/ISSO duties).
• Capture and refine information security requirements and integrate them into systems.
• Implement and manage security controls and patch management per SSP.
• Oversee continuous monitoring and auditing as per SSP.
• Coordinate with teams to verify security compliance and artifacts.
• Maintain knowledge of system functions and security safeguards.
• Implement SIEM tools to monitor and validate security.
• Document assessments and prepare POA&Ms.
