Job summary

Veterans First Initiative, LLC (VFI) is a U.S. Government Contractor delivering IT and cybersecurity services on a global scale. VFI seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst Level III for a complex, multi-year contract to support the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) IT Services.

All candidates must possess an active DoD Secret clearance. The role requires monitoring security alerts, implementing risk mitigation, and developing cybersecurity training.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in a technical cybersecurity analysis role.
• Knowledge of security controls, incident response, and enterprise IT security practices.
• Ability to resolve complex security issues in diverse environments; plan and maintain security processes.
• Active DoD RMF course completion within 180 days of assignment is required.
• IAM Level II certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of system security and threat mitigation strategies.
• Monitors and analyzes cybersecurity alerts from tools, devices, and information systems.
• Maintains cybersecurity infrastructure, policies, and procedures to protect information systems.
• Performs vulnerability scans and forensic analysis of information systems and data.
• Develops, tests, and integrates security designs and controls.
