Job summary

JMA Resources is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support monitoring, vulnerability management, and risk analysis for client systems. The role includes scripting automation, documenting findings, and presenting to stakeholders in a DoD-friendly environment.

Requires DoD Secret Clearance eligibility, 6+ years in cybersecurity, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in STEM. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site Philadelphia worksite is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent STEM field or combination of certification/experience.
• 6+ years of professional cybersecurity experience including log analysis, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
• Scripting and automation to improve cybersecurity processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system logs, security events, and data to identify risks or vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability analysis using ACAS and Tenable.
• Review data from cybersecurity tools to identify trends and follow-up needs.
• Assess impact of identified risks and document findings for stakeholders.
• Develop automation scripts to improve cybersecurity processes.
• Prepare clear findings, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
