Job summary

MRC in Newport, RI seeks an Information Assurance Analyst to support NUWC Division Newport. The role focuses on cybersecurity consulting across risk management, certification/authorization, vulnerability management, and documentation support for IT systems.

Expect collaboration within the HELP DESK network and Navy/DOD programs. Required are a Security+ certification and a final secret clearance, with experience in C&A/A&A processes and federal cybersecurity environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity consulting support to Navy/DOD programs including risk management and accreditation activities.
• Support certification and accreditation assessments, authorization, and vulnerability management.

MRC has an immediate opening for an Information Assurance Analyst supporting NUWC Division Newport.

This position will provide Cybersecurity consulting support to ensure requirements are met for the U.S. Navy and DOD Cyber security programs including but not limited to risk management, certification and accreditation/assessment, authorization, vulnerability management, program management support, technical engineering implementation and risk assessments on IT systems and documentation generation support. The primary role will be within the HELP DESK network support at NUWC.
