Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Information Security Department. You will support cybersecurity initiatives across the organization and help implement strategies, policies, and procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT/security or related field, hands-on security tech experience, and familiarity with Defender, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanning. You will participate in incident response and ongoing risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, IT Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience deploying cybersecurity principles, best practices, technologies, and standards.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.
• Hands-on technical experience with problem-solving and analytics skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Security Tools (Defender, Purview, etc) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in and lead incident response activities, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents and breaches.
• Implement data security measures using tools such as Microsoft Defender, EDR platforms, and MDR enhancements.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on systems, applications, and networks to identify potential weaknesses.
• Monitor security logs and alerts from various sources to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
