• 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience in security operations or related roles.
• Hands-on with monitoring security alerts and responding to incidents.
• Experience reviewing logs and documenting investigations.
• Knowledge of endpoint/cloud security, vulnerability management, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to day-to-day security alerts and escalations; including CrowdStrike notifications.
• Investigate suspicious activity, validate false positives, document findings and resolutions.
• Provide hands-on support for cybersecurity incidents; review logs and evidence to support investigations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and assess organizational impact of security events.
• Support incident-response processes: escalation, containment, remediation, and follow-up.
• Be the technical resource for security issues requiring deeper expertise than the IT team has.
• Support detection engineering and security analytics using CrowdStrike Foundry, NG-SIEM, CQL, and KQL.
• Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate on remediation activities with technical teams.

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to provide hands‑on security operations, incident investigation, and technical support across client organization. This person will monitor and respond to security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, support incident‑response processes, conduct vendor security reviews, and security guidance for technology and business initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Monitor and respond to day‑to‑day security alerts and escalations, including CrowdStrike Falcon/OverWatch notifications
• Investigate suspicious activity, validate false positives, and document findings and resolution
• Provide hands‑on technical support for cybersecurity incidents and escalations; including reviewing logs and available evidence to support investigations
• Perform root‑case analysis and assess the potential organizational impact of security events
• Support established incident‑response processes, including escalation, containment, remediation, documentation, and follow‑up
• Handle routine operational cybersecurity activities and serve as the technical resource for security issues that require deeper expertise than the existing IT team currently has available
• Support detection engineering and security analytics using technologies and query languages such as CrowdStrike Foundry, NG‑SIEM, CQL, KQL, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with technical teams on remediation activities
• Support vendor onboarding process by reviewing security questionnaires and vendor responses, identifying potential concerns, and performing deeper technical review when warranted
• Provide hands‑on cybersecurity input for ongoing technology changes, partner/data onboarding, and other business initiatives so that necessary security reviews can continue without unnecessarily slowing the business
• Contribute to security policies, controls, audit support, and organizational security awareness efforts

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, security operations, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or related technology roles
• Hands‑on experience monitoring and investigating security alerts and responding to cybersecurity incidents
• Experience reviewing logs, analyzing security telemetry, conducting root‑cause analysis, and documenting investigation outcomes
• Working knowledge of endpoint security, identity security, cloud security, email security, vulnerability management, and security operations
• Experience with CrowdStrike technologies, including Falcon, Foundry, Workflows, OverWatch, or NG‑SIEM
• Experience securing Microsoft cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, or Microsoft Sentinel
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Experience supporting vulnerability assessments, penetration‑test remediation, phishing simulations, and web‑filtering programs
• Familiarity with security policies, controls, audit support, and regulated or compliance‑driven environments preferred
• CompTIA Security+ or another recognized cybersecurity certification a plus
