Job summary

Cylake Inc. in Sunnyvale is seeking a seasoned AI/ML engineer to build state-of-the-art agentic AI systems for cybersecurity, including LLMs and ML pipelines that empower security teams to detect, investigate, and respond to threats at scale.

You will collaborate with security researchers and software engineers to productize and deploy AI-driven security solutions across SOC, SOAR, and SIEM workflows, shaping the next generation of cybersecurity products from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying ML/DL/AI to cybersecurity or related domains or PhD in a technical field.
• Proven track record delivering ML/DL/AI models into production end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of AI agent architectures and implementation patterns.
• Experience with LLM supervised fine-tuning (SFT), RL, and model distillation.
• Strong knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning and large-scale data.
• Experience with data quality, labeling, and feature engineering.
• Strong Python and deep learning framework skills (PyTorch).
• Familiarity with databases and production ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic AI systems for next-gen SOC, SOAR, and SIEM platforms.
• Build and optimize LLMs for cybersecurity use cases.
• Create evaluation frameworks to improve model quality and efficiency.
• Design ML solutions for threat detection (malware, phishing, anomalies).
• Develop AI workflows and pipelines using large security datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers to improve data quality and evaluation.
• Work with engineers to integrate AI models into production security products.
• Research advancements in LLM architectures, agents, and serving optimization.
