Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Cyber Workforce Policy Advisor to support a DoD client in the Washington DC area. The role focuses on policy implementation and strategic guidance to advance the DoD cyber workforce.

You will oversee development of human capital programs, transform talent, and advise government leaders on workforce solutions. Onsite 1-2x per week; Secret clearance required; salary range $60-65/hr.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of DoD8140 policy.
• Policy management and/or policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert specializing in the implementation of cyber workforce policy for a DoD client.
• Oversee the development and coordination of strategic guidance to advance the DoD cyber workforce.
• Provide expertise to improve cyber human capital and management practices.
• Transform talent through the implementation of a new human capital program to grow cyber professionals for the DoD.
• Serve as a trusted advisor with government leaders to develop workforce solutions that address complex talent challenges.
