Job summary

Tharros is seeking a Weapons and Tactics Subject Matter Expert to support ACC Flight Operations Division. You will integrate weapons and tactics courses, exercises, and publications across ACC CAF platforms for planning, training, and debriefing. Occasional travel may be required.

Strong emphasis on funding coordination, policy development, and publishable documentation. The role requires Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility and a USAF Weapons School graduate with 5 years of tactical

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility required.
• 5 years of experience in tactical kinetic employment operations and integration across domains.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, funding coordination, and synchronization for AF operations essential to mission success.
• Prepare documents and FOIA responses as needed for ACC CAF programs and publications.
• Support WSEP, AMRAAM Warfighter Course, AFCOMAC and other advanced tactical courses with scheduling, funding, and course material updates.
• Track, format, staff, and adjudicate comments for multiple AF publication updates (AFIs, etc.).
• Build and maintain contact lists across MAJCOMs, serving as a conduit between HAF, MAJCOM, and NAF W&T organizations.
• Provide staff summaries, point papers, and other documentation per AF Handbook and MAJCOM guidance.
• Maintain accountability records for classified material including transfer and destruction.
