Job summary

DUAL North America, Inc. seeks an Underwriting Intern (Cyber) in New York for a June–August 2027 program.

Work with seasoned underwriters, contribute to real projects, and gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, pricing, and underwriting strategy. You will organize underwriting information, research industry trends, and summarize findings for the team, while developing professional skills in a people-first, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Majoring in risk management, business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of insurance principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with underwriters to review insurance submissions and understand what makes a risk a good fit.
• Learn fundamentals of risk assessment, pricing, and underwriting strategy through real examples and team discussions.
• Help organize underwriting information, update records, and keep key details accurate and easy to access.
• Research industry trends, emerging risks, and market insights, then summarize findings for the team.
• Contribute to team projects, meetings, and day-to-day coordination while building confidence in a professional business environment.
