Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-5 years in Security Monitoring/SOC environment with evidence of investigating events, threats or vulnerabilities.
• Experience with log correlation and latest intrusion detection platforms, plus Linux/Windows administration.

Responsibilities

• Detect and respond to information security incidents and security events.
• Develop, maintain, and follow procedures for security event alerting and investigations.
• Monitor, research, classify, and analyze security events on networks or endpoints.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts and set performance expectations.
• Update SOPs and coordinate with Technical Lead for investigations.
