Job summary

MANTECH seeks a mission-focused Cyber Intelligence and Counterintelligence Analyst, SME, at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This role supports the 630th Cyberspace Squadron in defending Western Launch and Test Range Systems and provides advanced cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, and mission assurance across range safety networks, telemetry, tracking infrastructure, and ICS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber, Intelligence, IT, or National Security or related field; 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in threat intel, intelligence analysis, or cybersecurity operations.
• Experience producing technical intelligence products for operational, technical, and senior-leadership audiences.
• OT/ICS/cyber-ops familiarity and threat intelligence workflows in critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced cyber threat intelligence analysis, adversary profiling, pattern-of-life analysis, and proactive threat-hunting across mission systems and OT environments.
• Monitor real-time cyber threat activity; identify, analyze, and report indicators of compromise and evolving adversary TTPs.
• Develop and disseminate intelligence products (indications-and-warning, threat reports, executive summaries) for defensive operations and launch-mission assurance.
• Collaborate with mission-planning cells, range operators, cybersecurity personnel, and authorized intelligence organizations to close information gaps.
• Develop, track, and submit intelligence collection and production requirements using established tasking systems and RFIs.
• Support IPB reassessments and periodic reviews aligned with Joint Planning Process.
• Apply knowledge of SCADA/ICS/OT to assess threats, vulnerabilities, and mission risks to range infrastructure.
• Support cyber threat-emulation activities and post-action validation; document findings and recommended hardening actions.
