Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter for a full-time onsite role at Fort Belvoir, VA, requiring TS/SCI clearance. You will develop and deliver IT security solutions, lead engagements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to advance threat hunting capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have DoD 8570/8140 certifications, strong incident management experience, and a track record of delivering high-quality security consulting services in complex environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Threat Hunting experience or equivalent Federal Government capability.
• Active DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 compliant cybersecurity certification.
• Experience in security operations centers and incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver professional services engagements from initiation through final invoicing.
• Develop end-of-engagement reports describing findings and analysis.
• Mentor peers in new techniques, tools and security best practices.
• Interact with customers and internal teams to scope and deliver engagements.
• Provide knowledge sharing and training to Solution Services team.
