Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defense Analyst (Threat Hunter) to join our Quantico, VA team on swing shift, with on-site work and weekend/holiday coverage.

You will monitor networks, hunt threats, and coordinate with DoD security programs using SIEM, SOAR, CrowdStrike, CyberArk, and ESS to defend mission systems.

This role requires active TS/SCI eligibility, 5+ years of experience, and a Bachelor’s degree, with strong focus on IAVM programs and DoD compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity experience and DoD policy knowledge.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance required, TS/SCI eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Must meet 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform network security monitoring and threat hunting during swing shifts.
• Operate and maintain security tools (SIEM, SOAR, CrowdStrike, ESS).
• Support IAVM programs and DoD compliance activities.
• Generate daily/weekly security reports for leadership.
• Coordinate with cross-functional IT and security teams.
