ECLARO seeks a Cyber Security Specialist to join a global investment bank's security operations team in Jacksonville, FL. The role blends threat hunting, incident response, and proactive defense to stay ahead of attackers in a regulated, high-stakes environment.

You will monitor with SIEM tools, build detection rules, investigate threats, and translate intel into actionable guidance for the business, collaborating across technology, business, and global security teams.

Qualifications

• Background in security operations, monitoring, or incident response.
• Hands-on skills in threat investigation, vulnerability assessment, and intel analysis.
• Experience with SIEM environments; Splunk is a plus.
• Familiarity with Proofpoint or Defender for Endpoint.
• Degree in CS, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Practical, responsible use of AI tools to boost efficiency.
• Strong analytical instincts and communication for varied audiences.
• Exposure to IAM, GRC, or vulnerability management.
• Certs like Security+, CISSP, CASP, or CAP.
• Experience collaborating across global, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for threats and investigate vulnerabilities to catch risks before they elevate.
• Triage and respond to security alerts using modern SIEM tooling.
• Build and refine detection rules and alerting logic to sharpen monitoring capability.
• Turn raw threat intel into clear, actionable guidance for the business.
• Deliver reporting and metrics that give leadership visibility into the threat landscape.
• Partner with technology, business, and global security teams to strengthen cyber resilience.
