Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Threat Detection Analyst Expert to design, tune, validate, and maintain high-fidelity threat detections across SIEM, XDR, EDR, cloud, and network platforms.

You will work with Incident Response, Cybersecurity Operations, Threat Intelligence, Security Engineering, and IT Operations teams to improve coverage and reduce gaps, while mentoring junior analysts and driving detection projects.

Qualifications

• Must have strong threat-detection engineering and tuning experience.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK-based detections and threat intel.
• Experience building detections across SIEM/EDR/XDR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain threat detections across SIEM, XDR, EDR, cloud, and network platforms.
• Lead detection content development and troubleshooting.
• Conduct detection validation using simulations and adversary emulation.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Security Engineering teams.
• Measure detection health and reduce false positives.
